Crescent Breakfast Ring

Whether you’re looking for an easy brunch recipe or a quick idea for breakfast, using premade crescent roll dough is a great option! And with this recipe for a crescent breakfast ring, you can create a beautiful display for your morning meal with just a few minutes of prep work.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 can of crescent rolls 8 rolls total
  • ½ cup diced cooked ham or crumbled cooked sausage
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Place a sheet of aluminum foil in the bottom of your air fryer tray and set aside.
  • Add a tablespoon of butter to a large skillet over medium high heat to melt. Pour the eggs into the pan.
  • Scramble the eggs until cooked through, remove from heat.
  • Unroll your crescent dough, and begin to place the individual pieces of crescent dough onto the prepared air fryer tray to form a ring by slightly overlapping each piece and having the longer dough edge face to the outer edge of the tray.
  • Spread your scrambled eggs evenly on top of the crescent dough around the inner part of the ring.
  • Top the eggs with the cooked ham, followed by the shredded cheese.
  • Pull the long top edge of the crescent dough down to fold over the filling. You’ll repeat this around the ring, tucking the edge into the center of the crescent ring until all pieces are folded. (Note: you will have gaps between each piece with filling showing).
  • Melt the remaining butter and brush over the top of the ring.
  • Place in the air fryer and cook at 320F for 8-10 minutes on the air fry setting, or until the dough is cooked through and a light golden brown.
  • Allow the crescent ring to cool for 1-2 minutes before garnishing with chopped fresh parsley. Serve and enjoy!
