Ingredients

  • 4 large scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 1/2 cups cornflake cereal
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsps melted butter
  • Topping of choice such as chocolate sauce, caramel, sprinkles, and/ or whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Let the ice cream soften slightly and scoop four large scoops and place them on a plate or tray. Put them in the freezer for an hour.

  2. Put the cornflake cereal in a gallon size plastic bag. Use a rolling pin or cup to crush them. Add the sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in the bag and toss until evenly mixed.

  3. Take a piece of foil and fold the sides up like a shallow bowl. Put the cornflake mixture in the foil “bowl”. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes, stir/ mix a few times.

  4. Let the cornflake mixture cool completely. Roll the ice cream scoops in the cornflake mixture, coating all sides well, pressing into the ice cream. Sprinkle any extras over top of the ice cream and place back in the freezer for another hour.

  5. Serve with topping of choice such as chocolate sauce, caramel, sprinkles, and/ or whipped cream.
