This Air Fryer Mushroom Recipe is a delicious vegetable side dish, and easy to make.
- 16 ounces mushrooms rinsed and dried
- 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 1 clove garlic or garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
To make this easy air fryer mushrooms recipe, start with clean mushrooms. Then with cold water, and give mushrooms a quick rinse to remove any dirt off residue. Pat them dry with paper towels.
Add ingredients to the bowl of mushrooms, and then toss to mix mushrooms with olive oil, or melted butter. Then, add in the garlic, salt and pepper. Toss until the mushrooms are well coated with the seasonings.
Transfer mushrooms to air fryer basket. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 5-7 minutes.
Season to taste. You can also top them with parmesan cheese, onion powder, or other favorite seasonings.
I use a Cosori 5.8 quart basket style air fryer. Because air fryers are different, air frying cook time may vary. Add a couple of minutes to cooking time as needed.
Fresh garlic is always a favorite, but you can use garlic powder as a substitute.
If using a larger air fryer, you can cook all mushrooms at once. If using a smaller air fryer, do not over fill the basket. Work in batches of mushrooms if necessary.
