Mongolian beef

My first ever Blackstone meal, Mongolian beef. Sold the wife on the griddle.

INGREDIANTS
1 lb flank steak sliced about 1/4” thick
1/4 cup corn starch
2 tsp fresh minced ginger
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 stalks Scallions cut into 2” long pieces

Place steak into 1 gallon ziplock with corn starch and mix until coated on all sides.

Combine water, soy and brown sugar. Set aside

Mix garlic and ginger and set aside

METHOD

Steak on griddle with your choice of oil, I used avocado oil. Once browned with slight charring make a circle with meat and pour in liquid ingredients, fold meat in, corn starch will start to thicken. Add garlic and ginger and continue to fold. Add scallions and continue mixing until scallions lose their form. Plate with rice. Super easy.
